Ceramic Coating
What is Ceramic Coating?
A ceramic coating is an advanced form of paint protection. The product is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with paint to create a hydrophobic surface that repels water and dirt, therefore keeping your vehicle cleaner for longer. Although more expensive than traditional paint protection products like sealant and wax, the treatment can last between 3 to 5 years, and only improves as product quality improves. It also adds a hardness factor that makes it more difficult for the paint to get scratched by regular usage. We offer mobile ceramic coating services in the general Atlanta and Marietta area.
Why Nano Pro?
Nano Pro has the highest silica content and best formulation on the market today. Although we have access to other major competitors, we exclusively use NanoPro due to the superior quality. We also are certified through CarFax which means that the value of your vehicle will increase post service.
The Process
The truly difficult part about ceramic coating as a means of paint protection is the prepwork. This involves using a clay bar to remove contamination and doing a 2-step paint correction that restores the paint to factory finish. Consequently we use a product to completely remove any compound or polish residue and get the paint ready to apply the ceramic coat. Depending on the product and the treatment process, we apply 2 to 3 even coats to the paint. We don’t recommend trying this on your own without experience and a controlled environment free of dust and contaminants. Want to learn more?
